Being a parent or a carer and having a great career are not mutually exclusive. This is why many organisations are working to level the playing field for working carers, recognising that many employees have to meet their responsibilities to others.
We have the capability to help our clients support working carers. Some examples of our work include:
- Running ‘listening’ sessions for Macquarie University’s working carers to capture their requirements, then creating the content for a new Carers Hub which includes a range of toolkits to support both employees and their managers with meeting career and caring commitments.
- Designing and building Westpac Group’s ‘Carers@Work program, supporting employees who are carers of children, someone who is elderly or a family member with disability.
